Use
• Provide a pre-designed modular
control system to perform the basic functions required in a packaging
line.
Description
• The XirPak control panel includes
fuse protection, master control relay, programmable logic controller
(PLC), wiring, and a master power disconnect switch on a stainless
steel enclosure.
• The XirPak control panel is used for inspection systems,
diverters, dynamic control systems, etc.
Advantages
• Versatile: almost limitless control
functions in one package.
• Flexible: optional control devices are available and can
be integrated to the basic XirPak control panel at the factory or
by the customer. They can be purchased with the XirPak or separately.
• Universal: can be used in all equipment, irrespective of
the manufacturer.
• Uniform: minimum training and spare parts.
• Simple: step-by-step installation instructions are available
with the optional items.
• Documentation: complete wiring diagrams, connecting instructions
and spare parts list.
• Validation: complete documentation to ease validation requirements.
Technical specifications
• PLC as per model number.
• All wires identified and documented on a wiring diagram.
• All cables end in a wire terminal:
• Terminal block: 20 amps.
• Wires: 14-22 gage.
• All cables placed in appropriate wire ducts.
• Fuses for components protection.
• Input power: 120 VAC, 2 amps. (control hardware only)
Control enclosure
• Stainless steel gage 16 on covers and bodies.
• All welds continuous and ground smooth, no apertures.
• Smooth, round edges on all parts to prevent insulation damage.
• Quick release clamps on all sides of the door to exclude
liquids and contaminants.
• Oil resistant neoprene gasket along the perimeter of the
door (bonded with oil resistant adhesive).
• Enclosure latch with padlock locking.
• Internal pocket for drawings.
