Description
The conveyor transports the products via a plastic chain. The chain consists of individual links joined by a stainless steel or plastic pin. Stainless steel pin is standard; the plastic pin is optional, used in applications where no metal can be contained in the belt, such as metal detection on the product. The different chain tops are used for specific different applications. Consult factory.

Chain assembly tool
The chain assembly tools facilitates the chain links insertion and removal.
Ordering information
- Calculate the amount of chain required using the effective track lengths table on pages XAE 39-43. On non-returning chain applications use the one-way chain effective track length.
- The chain is sold in sections of 16.4 ft.
- For cleated chains indicate the pitch distance between links (as a multiple of the pitch distance 1.32”). For example:
- If you want cleats with four links between them (5X1.32”=6.60” pitch distance) then N=5; if two links are desired between cleats, the pitch distance is 3 cleats X 1.32”= 3.96”, N=3
- Plastic Pivot and stainless steel pin are used for replacement only since they are included in the chain.
